SemBody

Have a business card with the word SemBody and wondering where it comes from?  Simply, a combination of the words Sem and Embody.

The Tibetan word Sem is used for their understanding of "mind" which extends beyond the traditional Western view to encompass psyche and spirit, thereby including intellect, feeling, heart and mind.  Howard C. Cutler refers to this word in his conversation with the Dalai Lama in The Art of Happiness.

As Persephone was the embodiment of the earth's fertility in Greek mythology and Tiger Woods embodies the modern day golfer, the word Embody refers to the process by which we adopt mastery.

It is SemBody's mission to provide coaching and training to individuals and groups intent on gaining mastery in emotional and physical intelligence.
